On Saturday, 23 May, the 9th Ladies Squash Open 2026 took place, a long-standing tradition that brings together women squash enthusiasts year after year.
This time, 22 players took part in the tournament. Most of them came from Valencia, but we were also delighted to welcome participants from Cuenca, León, Pamplona, Barcelona and Girona.
The final was contested between Linda Svilane, the experienced player from Club Squash LSV, and the young Bulgarian talent Alina Kukova, who currently lives in Valencia. Linda Svilane emerged victorious, while third place went to Maiken Bryant, a New Zealand player representing Club Esportiu Mediterrani.
Afterwards, we enjoyed a fantastic raffle featuring prizes generously provided by SquashPoint and Victor.
Special thanks go to our friend Adrián Bares for capturing so many wonderful moments through his photography, and to Janis Melderis for ensuring the smooth running of the event on court throughout the day.
The day concluded with a lovely outdoor dinner.
